Door sill rust - how to remove plastic cover

All, i have noticed a bulge under my door sill plastic cover and looking at olsters thread the fix should be straightforward. However i do not know how to get the plastic cover off and i don't want to damage it.

Anyone removed theirs or know where i can find instructions to do so?
 
These are rubber and are just double sided taped on.

I did approach with trim tools such as these:

But it's really not necessary. They come up by hand easy enough and peel off.

I'd get new ones unless you fancy removing all the double sided tape from them.

They're likely scuffed anyway so treat the old girl :thumb:
