Hi guys, I am thinking of upgrading my exhaust on my c2s, I have a sports exhaust but no pse button, have been told to change the cats for better sound, I was looking for a loud scream at high note like exotic car sounds, what is the cheapest route for me? I'm from Manchester area anyone fancy showing there modifications as I don't know much about exhausts etc, want to upgrade a few things on it also :thumb:

There is a Porsche GB North West meet on the 08th June (PM) at the Deanwater near Wilmsow. Might be worth popping past and looking at the cars there?

I've got a Dansk system, but I'm sure there would be other more interesting systems there to listen to!

Sounding good Phil.
I notice the Turbo boys are letting the side down a bit - especially compared to those super-sounding F and L cars!
My TG S/S system will go on in the summer to appease my aural pleasure sensors :D

Not cheap mate but slowly managed to pick up a genuine aero kit of the internet from several different places, which was much cheaper than buying new from the OPC.
The exhaust is from top gear and its got gt3 throttle body plenum, induction mod BMC sports filter and a DMS remap which adds most of the gained BHP into the usable low and mid range of the power band.
IMO the three main power gains are from the 200 cell cats , the gt3 throttle body and plenum and the remap. the next bit comes from the sports boxes and then the last bits are from sports headers and induction kit sports filter . but the induction kit and filter are a really cheap mod that works to make the engine feel much more free flowing and better breathing if you haven't already done that mod do it first as its cheap and noticeable and the induction note will add to your PSE . :grin: :thumb:

Videos don't do my exhaust justice but I think it masively improved the presence of the turbo.
Phil has heard it so can comment. I have only ever been in the car

Full Kline inconel with 200 cell cats :D
 
My mate fitted mine who also happens to be a Kline dealer in Manchester. I did put a thread on here somewhere....

Contact VAG Manchester and ask for Mark. He will help where he can I've been mates with him since university days
