Hi everyone,

My C4 lives outside and although spending half its life under a car cover does seem to have a few spots of rust appearing. Usual spots near around windscreen, rear window and wing next to the engine bay.

I'm considering a respray - any advice on price and where to have it done. I live in SW London.

I was in a similar situation, few bubbles and badly looked after paint forced me to get mine repainted.

I am in the process of having it done, should be back in a couple weeks. Pricing really depends on what lies beneath and how bad the rot you can see really is.

I used a bodyshop I have used for many years called Xquisite Automotive in Leatherhead, literally just off J9 M25. I trust them to tell me as it is and produce a top quality job with the car kept within a secure and insured unit.
