Leaky cab. Drain hole help Pls

I've found leaky rear footwells so followed the posts on here and the US site and taken the rear wheel arch out and cleaned the gromet.
It's still leaking in from a grey disk under the carpet at the bottom of the seat (where your ankles would be if you were sitting there). Does anyone know what this grey disk is please?
I'm wondering if I need to gently rod the drain hole (under the wheel arch) or whether the drain tubes behind the speaker etc, have holes in them.
Thank
You

It's easy enough to take the inside rear panel off that holds the speaker. Remove that to gain access and pour some water down the channel from the top and see what's happening. Could easily be blocked at the top of the drain where there's like a small reservoir area water goes down.

thank you.
I've looked behind the speaker and can't see the water draining down when I pour it into the drain hole under the clamshell.
I suspect that the tube has a hole in it, as I can't see it going down the chute, but it does drain slowly from the wheel arch.
So I thought I may need to take the side panel off.
i think ive found the link to the procedure to remove the panel

The actual grey disk I think, must have a fair bit of water behind it, but I don't know what the disk is. The purple thing is a mini dumbbell I used to keep the carpet back. The disk is at 90 degrees to the floor

I've poured water in again and nothing is coming out of the upper drain tube into the chute. If I pour water into the chute manually, it comes gushing out onto the garage floor via the newly cleaned drain in the wheel arch liner.

I think there must be a hole in the upper drain, as prodding from the clamshell end with a soft wire doesn't help, it doesn't come out of the end by the speaker!

How do I get in to replace the upper drain tube, or see what's wrong with it? I don't think the link I posted earlier is the right one!

Remove the panel that the speaker sits in. 2 minute job and should give you the access required. ps. you'll need to do some jiggery pokery with the front seat belt coming through the panel. I think there's a screw behind the seatbelt plastic shroud that needs removing..

that's the bit I'm struggling with! How to remove the panel that the speaker is in!!

Think you remove the seat back locking post and a screw under the plastic front seat belt cover.

No 1 shows panel fixings , the panel is clipped on as shown by the arrows and the very front lower section has a plastic piece that goes straight down , just about visable on the picture.

From the picture where you are roding it , that wont come out inside the car , that will enter the rear glass camber , you pour water at the side of the roof .. which is actually in the car if you want to test it .. the plastic liner with cables on it .. thats were the water runs , youll see it all when you get the rear panel removed.

The pipe you show can leak at its rear fixing or split .. panel off to see or check it.

The grommet should NOT have water behind it , i think it seals off the rear window chamber but hard to tell ftom the picture .. need a wider view :) so if this has water in it then that chamber drain is blocked .

How does the front seatbelt cover come off?!

It just unclips. No need to start removing the belt. Pull from the bottom and you'll see. I've just done mine to show you. You'll then expose the screw that needs undoing.

Don't start messing about undoing your seatbelt.

Thank you so much. Still couldn't get that internal panel off so will book the car in to a local specialist to get it sorted. I know my limits and don't want to break anything! I have cleaned out the rear drains in the wheel arches this weekend, so not all of that time was wasted!
Thanks once again all
