but it will be repaired since values are so high, the insurance company will want it repaired which is a fraction of the car's value

1994 Porsche 993 Carrera 2

PostPosted: Wed Mar 25, 2015 12:24 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

The "U" at the end of the rear number plate indicates a garage plate (trade plate) so it could be that a garage employee was driving a customers car at the time. I wouldnt want to be explaining if this was the case, but of course the garage will have insurance.

Of course it could be the garages own car out on its trade plate.

nooo

Really? 959 part prices are stratospheric, where they are available.

At circa £600k, surely repair will still be cheaper than replacement/market value?

I clocked a red one in Sheffield OPC a few weeks back and it was up at 1.1 mil... And yep, pounds sterling!

Maybe that's your man driving it at the time with the blue shirt on with blood on his face. It would fit the profile of someone being in a road traffic collision with a new roof modification for his troubles.

The red one looks like Daley Thomsons old car.

They have a plastic roof that's why the car is so flat.
Big repair, but do able.
