Thanks for that

Great thanks for the information

Need to do some more runs but the private road I use is only good for around100mph

30-130 60-130 will have to wait till a track day.

If any one had any more times please feel free to add them with mods or stock Tip PDK or man and approx BHP

Hi Ken sorry to question but just noticed on your website when reading about the 9E Packages you quote that a standard 60-130 times for a 997.1 tt is approx 12s whereas your times below sound more realistic

Is it an error or am i missing something here/got the wrong end of the stick?

http://nineexcellence.com/performance/9ETuning/997Turbo/9EPackages/index.html

Thanks

Our base stats for 60-130 is as follows

Stock 997.1 Manual - 9.5
Stock 997.1 Tiptronic 9.4
Stock 997.2 PDK 8.7

Before any tuning of any sorts. Two persons in the car with 1/2 tank of fuel. Those are repeatable vbox figures on level gradient.

Ken

I have some before and after figures for 60-130.

Before was 8.4 seconds and after was 6.9.

997.2 turbo. Full Kline system (decat) with equal length manifolds. New re gapped plugs, IPD intake plenum and remapped. All work carried out by 9E.

It runs amazingly. So pleased with it. No further poke required!

Forgot to add. My car is PDK and based on the data below I'm pushing circa 620 bhp

Vmax 158.3

This run was with a boost leak leading to figures very close to a stock 996 turbo.

Hopefully will have some true figures in the next couple of weeks to reflect its real performance

Wow! Mine feels bat$hit mental. That must feel insane!

My next mods will be chassis and brakes. More than enough poke for me right now. It gets a bit sideways right now when I push on through the twisties (and that was last summer). Yours must be impossible

It is quite a handful at times but with the H&R springs, TPC Racing DSC Module and Michelin tyres it puts it down really well... I reckon there's more to be had out of yours as well, ESMotor remapped a standard Turbo S and recorded a 60-130 vbox time of 6.8, with your exhaust, headers and IPD Plenum you could be down to 6.5 i reckon Cool, doesn't sound much but on the road it really is as you know...

Thanks Ade,

Mine is waaaaay fast enough for me. I'm sure that more power could be had but I'd like to keep it reliable and safe. As I said, my next mods will be chassis and brakes. I noticed my brakes fading last time out. Eeek!
