Anybody had those fail on a 997.2 GT3/RS?

Mostly seen on .1 but a few .2 failures as well. Does not look related to age or mileage.

Correct it's a lottery, if and when they go, effects both generation cars and 996 GT3 RS and Turbos. More common issue in hotter climates but seen a few uk cars have this issue.

Failed on my 996tt. Had the engine dropped and them all welded.

In the states the go-to place for the fix seems to be Sharkwerks, I don't think we have an equivalent here in the UK. Agree with Cunno, judging by this I'd say less common over here due to climate. Still something worth sorting, personally I intend to fix before I start heading back out on track
