Folks,

sometimes speedo drops to zero and ABS light comes on. Very intermittent.

Presuming something to do with either speed sensors or speed sensor relay.

Anyone had something similar (mine is a tiptronic c2 1991)

Cheers

Sorry Jlee, but I have very little experience of the tip model, although I would guess the usual suspects still apply. I would rule out the obvious first by cleaning the wheels sensors and associated earthing points. Check the battery earth cable (By this I mean taking it off and cleaning it,looks can be deceptive). Then investigate the fuse/ Relay board. I think this is the only methodical way to approach this type of electrical issue.
Good luck and keep us posted. It will help peeps in the future....
