Alarm fob / AFN / dealer stickers?

Hi all,

I bought a couple of remote refurb lists from Hamilton & Palmer for my PA2000 remotes. Great service as usual but they no longer have the black vinyl stickers which have "PORSCHE" and "PA2000" written on them.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get them made up ?

Also, any recommendations for where to buy replacement key heads would be welcomed!

Thx

[title edited to refer to AFN / dealer stickers to help people searching, given Ch3tman's helpful link below]

I don't know re stickers, but Porscheshop sell the key heads for about 30 quid each inc VAT. They're really easy to swap but you may need to use a bit of force on the old key head when you've dismantled it. There's a good how to on one of the U.S. forums on this, I think Rennlist.

PS on stickers more generally, if anyone knows where I could get a 1995 AFN dealer window sticker made I'd be v grateful!

Maybe give this company a call and ask if they would cut you a few?

They sell a lot of replica decals, including the infamous Mobil 1 sticker needed for our engine bays.

I've been searching for someone to do a window sticker too....but for mid Sussex porsche...i've trawled the web but still no luck.

So I spoke to a couple of sticker printing companies today... They both needed the "artwork" in digital format. So I need to scan the sticker (easy) and then digitise it... Anyone have ideas ? Have searched the web and there seem to be a few packages, but wondering if anyone knows the best way to do it...

Thanks for the tip, their site looks v good.

Having done a bit more digging I think wfarrell on this forum is also looking at getting for AFN stickers done later in be year.

Sorry don't know re digitising, other than scanning it to a .jpg file etc, but I assume they need something more sophisticated than that...

Thanks, yes a JPEG won't be enough. I think it needs to be a vectorised file (I guess that means a digital copy that can be scaled up/down as need be).

I would like the 1995 AFN sticker. My car is ex-Porsche Cars GB and AFN demonstrator.

I know Tony of IsayDIngDong if that helps!

Update...

Have spoken to H&P. The supplier has retired, H&go can't offer any help to understand which material it is painted on, etc.

Am going to have to send one of my originals to a specialist to see if they can recreate it and <gulp> what the cost would be...

On same topic, i need replacement remote fob pa1000

whats the process please to get that job done?

Nik - if you manage to get some of these made up, I'll buy a couple from you.

Cheers mohitos. Will let you know how I get on.

Anawaz - i would try H&P in the first instance.

Not sure if you guys had any luck with this... but I remembered this thread as mine is also an AFN car.

Earlier on I came across an eBay seller who appears to be reproducing AFN stickers:

No idea how accurate the above items are however, as I have no basis for comparison...:?
