Wanted: Porsche Short Shift Kit for 996 C2 (3.4 year 2001)

Looking for a Porsche Short Shift Kit to fit to my 2001 996 C2 (3.4).
 
I bought the £35ish quid one off eBay. So far so good.

On close inspection it looks identical to the one design911 knock out for significantly more
 
I tried an eBay special and found it to be impossibly notchy.

My advice is to fit a 997 shifter.

It fits 1:1 with a 996.

If you want shorter, then go for an OEM 997 GT3 one.

I fitted a standard 997 shifter to my 3.4 and it's slightly shorter than a stock 996 shifter but so much more positive.
