Hi folks

I'm looking to get sport plus (chrono without the clock) retro fitted to my 987 Spyder and wondered if there are any official discounts with any OPC's or if anyone can recommend someone for a decent (my local ones in Porsche/Bristol are coming up the same and don't seem interested in a discount!0. As far as I can see its just a couple of hours labour to map in tom the DME and a plastic button for £900 :>) !

Cheers
Nat

Have you tried OPC Exeter?

Try speaking to Wayne Blackhall, might be able to give you a deal.

I am not in touch for over 12 months, otheriwse would have given a call to him.

Good luck

The majority of the cost is the fee Porsche germany charge for unlocking the information stored in the ECU
Fitting is relatively simple
new switch panel for the sport button
pop the car on the Porsche lap top and tell it has sports plus
then enter the unlocking code

All the cars have the sports plus/ chrono information on the cars ECU
but you need a code to unlock it.
and each car has an individual code.

I have fitted quite a few and the cost was a lot less than £900

give Wayne a ring its worth the trip down to exeter

Thanks guys will do that in the Morning ! One outfit have now come back with £760 - a bit better!
