Any thoughts on this?
Looking for an older project to do over a few years. Only thing I can't do is weld, yet. Not really looking for a complete strip down job which this may be.

Ive worked on these cars on and off for 40 years.Ive had my own garage business for 34 years.Do youself the biggest favour and keep looking. That car will NEVER be right.

Thank you gents, sorry for the delay replying.

I've a history of buying junk to do up. Many TR7's later I thought I'd grown up! Moved on to TR3's then got too busy.

Guess I'll keep looking. Fancy an older Porsche but has to be a resto project
Cheers

A resto project is what I had £20000 later (me doing a lot of the work) .

Run from a targa it's the base of the over bar where it joins the sills and floor that's the problem . You recall the mgb issues well this is the same.
