anyone got a cure for the 964T 'lean' condition when lifting off ? my AFR guage shows jumps up to 20 when lifting accompanied by popping ........

i've heard that perhaps disconnecting the deaccelartion valve from the manifold and venting to atmosphere can stop this lean out condition - i think thats whats its supposed to do anyway - just wondering if any issues with actually doing this mod ?

also currently running with 02 sensor disconnected as this was causing lean condition -16-18 at idle - prob a faulty sensor , now sits around 13 at warm idle with no stumbling on pickup

cheers

John Ashcroft who maintains the 3.6 Turbo register is also worth contacting (user name is Turbo Jonny on Rennlist).

He's local to us, canny chap who seems to know all models of Turbo inside out. :)
