I just went to open my drivers side door this morning and it won't open. The outside lever felt a little tight, but then it just wouldn't open the door. The inside handle doesn't open it either. Can anyone suggest how to get it open ? Have tried the rotating door lock but that's stuck as well.

Regards,

Lee

Lee,

I dont think you have said what your car is SC,3.2 ? lets see some pictures.

In regards your door the triggers on the handles can be pretty stiff at times (my kids were unable to open my 3.2) Is the door locked ? and you cant unlockit with the knob inside. Is your inside doorhandle still connected to the small bar that slips into the handle, there are two small plastic retaining clisp either end of this bar that are prone to wearing, the solenoids are prone to fail assumming you have a 3.2 however you should still be able to open manually from the outside. I would get a load of wd40/rost off squirted in to the door handle at the end of the trigger and see if that helps.

If that is the issue you then need to take the door card off and strip the handle out and give it a clean and lube.

Door stuck

All sorted now, was just a bit stiff and needed lots of wd40. Specialist Porsche garage in Newcastle DandG guys were fab at sorted it for me.

The guys hooked the latch after winding the window down and then squirted all the mechanisms inside and out.
