There is always another car, plenty in the U/K market A/C still holding well. Even ones that need work are still not cheap.

911 colours, especially '90's onwards are boring. Sure someone can show you a 'one in every 200' green or yellow one, but on the whole they are incredibly dull, even red is considered exotic.

I remember when i took my (then girlfriend, now) wife to see my first (prospective) porsche some 12 years ago at Dick Lovett in Swindon. It was a 9 month old Boxster in Guards Red and she said "if you are to buy a porsche, it has to be red!" I disagreed... And bought a meridian silver car.

Now I have a Guards Red 964 and totally LOVE it! :). She is a brilliant lady :)
 
So before you got married you could choose whatever you wanted?
