50th Anni 991 Special Retro Edition unveiled [£92,257]

I don't really like the 991, but I like this

The wheels look similar to the original Cayman wheels don't they :?:

Agreed on all counts GT4 except that rear grill. I like that and is smarter than the 4's reflective strip (+ obviously its only rear wheel drive = :D )

Mmmm very nice indeed :thumb:

I meant the top air-intake grill (complete with bizarrely anachronistic LED high-level brake light :?), not the strip between the spoiler and PU.

On the darker car it looks OK (perhaps as it is further away), but on the cream coloured car :yuk:

Just realised

I'm going to be one of the first 911uk'ers to see it in the flesh.

Thanks!

A bit disppointed with the concept. A 50th anniversary model should be very special!
It will be better if they sell the car for £93000 with the C4 wide body, GT3 PDK box (push up to change down and pull to change up) and slot the 430ps engine (the powerkit) at the back.
That will be my dream 991!

Very nice piece of kit. Like GT4 mentions above, they may have missed a trick that an X51 PowerKit is not standard (I assume it will be optional). The previous 40th Anni had the X51 as did the extortionately priced 997 Sport Classic as standard equipment.

I think the chrome bits may not work on some colours but overall very nice.

Best looking 991 so far, love it.

I too am surprised that the Powerkit isn't included (maybe to keep the cost the right side of £100k) - but I think they've done a good job.
