Anyone used MoreThan?

I have just moved over to A-plan also. Wasn't the cheapest but because of the OPC connection and their tendancy to specialise in high-end cars I decided to go for them.

Bridle have come down in price to £699 inc £25 legal cover.
As far as More Than are concerned I just noticed a further £200 excess for not using their approved repairers and when I clicked through to buy it came back with a 'Sorry we cant insure you try our partner AXA', who mandated a tracker be fitted to insure my car.
Waiting on a call back from A-Plan.

Just renewed with them, impressed with the sales service, quickest to answer, quickest to go through the quote and quickest to get back to me.

£85 cheaper than Comp Car ins renewal quote.

Bridle were way more expensive even their Aviva quote (who CCI also use)

As you have found out, the small print excess if you don't use their repairer is just one example. I tried Bridle when I bought mine - expensive I can tell you. Another firm I used (can't remember who) said they wouldn't issue me (a balding retired grey-haired Porsche driver) cos I didn't have "supercar history". How bizarre.

In the end I went with Mannings UK - competitive and very helpful. Includes track cover which I don't need (NB Excess is 10% of valuation of the car for track cover if I remember correctly) and a first rate helpful bunch of sales consultants who showed a good understanding of the specialist nature of these cars and the care their owners tend to bestow upon them. Cme renewal this year I will shop around again and I hope Mannings quote me happy.

Insurance is a fickle thing - lots of clauses, small print, ambiguous wording and generally you get what you pay for.

It seems like all Bridle Insurance quotes are going up this year. I have just got my renewal through and won't be going back with them this year. I am actually going back to A-Plan (about to become a 911uk sponsor) and they have given me a quote £130 cheaper. They will authorise any accident repair damage or windscreen replacements at OPCs.

Is that A Plan replacing Bridle Insurance as a forum sponsor and would that explain why the Insurance prices have increased?

I stayed with Bridle in the end. A-Plan could not get within 10% of the Bridle price in the end. I ran out of time to call Porsche Insurance.
