The 2014 Porsche Macan was recently snapped by our spy photographers and those photos have been used to create a production realistic rendering.
Made by Dan Buzdugan of PS-Garage, the picture shows a compact crossover with a design that is heavily influenced by the Cayenne. While most of the details closely resemble the spy photos, we can expect the turn signals will look a little different on the production model.
As we have previously reported, the Porsche Macan will go into production in late 2013. Engine options remain unconfirmed, but speculation suggests we can expect a 220 hp (164 kW / 223 PS) 2.0-liter TFSI, a 295 hp (220 kW / 299 PS) 3.6-liter V6 and possibly a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 with 370 hp (276 kW / 375 PS) and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque. There could also be a hybrid variant as well as two diesel engines that produce 190 hp (142 kW / 193 PS) and 250 hp (186 kW / 253 PS).
