Wow someone had deep pockets, it also has:

C16 which i understand stipulates a UK car £STD
X70 Door entry guards in stainless steel with logo £202.10
X71 Instrument dial painted/aluminium look finish £387.75
X97 Gear leaver knob in aluminium/leather } £404.20
X98 Handbrake leaver in aluminium/leather } £INC

are these standard forgetting the C16 of course....

Thanks - Darren.

Thank you... :thumb:

Just had a look at the under bonnet sticker on mine and some of the codes are a bit faded now.
A couple which i think i've read right but couldn't find on the list were :

XSC ( i think that's what it says )
016
721

Anyone know what these could be ?

Also, i have 662 - Info/Navigation system....... but i do not have PCM in the car so not sure what this relates to ?

Thanks

Did you not get my PM Blakeyjersey?

Ah yes i did, sorry i thought the underbonnet codes were extra on top of the codes you sent me, but having just checked the decode you sent i can see what the codes relate to now.

What i thought was 721 was obviously 741 - Press Car, and think i must have misread the 662 code.

Thanks

The under bonnet VIL is the OPTIONAL subset of the build sheet (ie chassis number decode).

The build sheet tells the factory EXACTLY what to fit, down to which handed light units, emissions controls or tyre brand etc.

The VIL only list COST OPTIONS or NCO.

It also states the paint and interior codes.

As advised:

XSC ( i think that's what it says ) = "XSC Porsche Crest embossed in headrest"
016 = "M061 Version for Great Britain"
721 = "M741 Press Vehicle"

Anyone know what these could be ?

Also, i have 662 [689 before edit] - Info/Navigation system....... but i do not have PCM in the car so not sure what this relates to ?

"M652 Delete Sunroof"
"M689 Preparation of cd autochanger"

option code 790 anyone????

On what vehicle?

And are you sure it isn't "970", because if it is on a PanAm, then you have purchased the option of a PanAm!

Seriously, is it a tarted up VAG product?

1999 996 c2

Where are you seeing this code?

(do you have a scan/photo or context - ie any code/serials before and after?)

Thank you

I have sent you a pm, thanks

I've got 490 on my sticker:

M490 -MY 01 SOUND SYSTEM

Does this mean Model Year 01? My car is an Oct 1997

Porsche Option Codes

Been trying to establish what options I have on the newly aquired 997.
Drawn a blank with the VIN Finder sites, either stopped working or they want your ££.

So heres a list of Option Codes:
Porsche option codes are found on the sticker under the front bonnet and inside the original service book on most models up to the mid-2000s.
