Really p'd off.
Took the car there to get new crank sensor fitted. They did a full health check and gave me a list as long as my arm. I only got the crank sensor done.
On that list they mention struts and arms, which I already had done less than a year ago so ignored it. When I got my bill today, I noticed that the struts and arm were removed as faults that still needed to be remedied. WTF? Did they just put that in there in the hope I might pay over £2k to get it fixed?
Anyway, gets worse.
They put a charge in on my bill for £70 to tighten battery terminal. WTF? I disputed that and they removed the charge. But FFS £70 to turn a bolt by half a turn!!
I haven't started yet.
Drove the car home and everything is fine and dandy. Get out the car and notice that they had spilt a fluid down side of car (on outside). The car is dark blue and the fluid is black so not easy to spot. Anyway accidents happen so I cleaned it off...took ages to get off. I had to clay it off and even now it's not fully removed. Hopefully some more clay and polish will sort it out.
The worst bit.
I walk away from the parked car and notice a flap hanging at the front of the car under the front bumper. Walk back to the car and realize the bar stewards had scraped the front plastic bit... As in driven over a high bump or cornered on a slope. The flap is a cover that has obviously become deranged after the scrape.
In the grand scheme of things nothing major I suppose but still highly pissed off and as much as I like Porsche as a brand and the posh service at the OPC, it is clearly run by a bunch of muppets.
I guess there is not much I can do as all I will get is: it was there before, Sir!
