Paying for a car you're having collected

I have just bought a car from Lincolnshire... what I did was - pay a deposit and have the car delivered. When the car was delivered, I checked everything etc and when I was happy simply paid the remaining balance over the phone by debit card.
 
The seller let the car leave his sight without full payment!! :eek:
