How good is the Porsche warranty?

If I buy a Porsche that is covered by a Porsche warranty, do I need to bother with a PPI?

Thanks.

I don't think many people on this forum have bothered with a PPI if they've bought from an OPC. If on the other hand, you're buying privately and the car has an OPC warranty, then you might want to carry out a PPI.

If nothing else, it may add leverage to your negotiation stick.

One of the main reasons I bought my car privately was because it had 5 months Porsche warranty left on it, which gave me piece of mind, so I didn't get a PPI done as I knew if anything was wrong it would be fixed under warranty.

I have just renewed the warranty last week for another year .
I must say that so far Porsche customer services have been excellent and it has paid for itself easily :thumb:
