997 seat belts??

Ive just bought a full set of genuine red seat belts for my 997 c2s, i thought id have a day at home tomorrow to fit them...
Just had a quick look, and not sure if its too big for me! Does anyone know how to take the sliding part off of the pilar? Or should i ask, does anyone know what to do? is it a diy job or not? :?:
 
not sure, check on rennlist or 6speedonline
 
It's all about information, if you try to take it all apart without the info then you will likely damage some trim. I would look around and see how much info you can collect, then you are in a better position to decide if you are upto the job or not.
