Hi there...
New here..
So first things first Hello to all..
OK then onto my problem..
I have recently acquired a second 911, a 930 turbo..
This came my way after suffering a little bit of crash damage..
This is all now repaired and looking spot on..
Took it out for a test run this afternoon..
Initially all was well.? drives as it should till you ask for some performance..!!
It feels/felt like there was no turbo boost actually felt like a choked up air filter..
Got it back to the workshop pulled out the filter to find about 3 litres of oil in the air box..????
Now before i start ripping into everything to try figure out whats going on..!!
Does anyone have any input on what could be wrong..??
There seems to be several valves connected to the dry sump system..?
Is there any history of these sticking or wearing out.?
Could it be anything to do with the breather system on the engine..??
Happy to hear from anyone with suggestions on this issue..
Many thanks in advance..
John
