As beautiful and serene as the song paints it, a winter wonderland can be treacherous. See the accompanying photos for confirmation. While performing final winter testing on the 2010 Porsche Panamera, the test driver lost control of the vehicle and put it into a small snow bank.
A spy photographer recorded the events as the tester waited for a tow, provided by a friendly Cayenne Turbo. The four-door Porsche came dislodged and traveled home no worse for the wear; we just hope it wasn't the V-8, all-wheel-drive variant.
The official Panamera unveil will occur at the Shanghai auto show in April, with European availability occurring shortly thereafter. The U.S. version will bow this fall. To prospective customers, we advise caution around the frost.
