Dear All,

I would just like to introduce you to the new memer of my family my new Porsche 997 2 S.

It has most of the extras Areo kit, Satnav, telephone, cruise, chrono sports pack, sports seats, sports exchast, bose etc.

Its is an 06 model and only had 6900 miles when I picked it up less than 4 weeks ago. It also had just been serviced by the last owner and also has warranty until next June. It now has over 8000 mils on it since then. I work from home but cant stop driving it and cant get this grin off my face :D .

I attach some photos I hope you like it.

Regards

Welcome to 911uk.. :welcome:

Nice looking 997, with the best wheel option.

Is this your first Porsche ?

Dan

(I would loose the Carrera S badges off the back - only stuck on, bit of fishing wiring under it.. -)

Interesting you should say that about the badge at the back.

Mine was originally debadged from factory, and the OPC put one back on when they re-sold it to me (not at my request) - on the basis that people prefer to know what it is!

Why would you take it off?

Welcome Satnam! Lovely wheel/colour/kit combo. I'm sure you will have lots of fun in that little baby! Btw, Dan has a lot of fishing wire at home and lots of car badges too. Me, I'd personally keep them on.

Congratulations, that's a lovely car :thumb:

My favourite wheels for the 997 and they suit the aero kit too. Enjoy it! 8)

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Yes it is my first Porsche had a BMW 535d sport before this and that was also a fantastic car and very fast.

I have been looking for a Porsche for the last twelve months and it has been a mission finding the right car and spec.

I have even seen three at OPCs that were in very poor condition had accident damage and one even still had the maskin tape under the bonet.

One OPC salesman put me off the whole experience buying from a dealer when he got defensive when I wanted to carry out my own RAC inspection.

Eventually bought private and got an RAC check done without any bother.

I am just off to the In-Car audio specialists to get priced up on a ipod adaptor called "IO player". Have any of you guys heard of it and would you recommend one? It also has bluetooth capabilities.

Speak soon.

Hi Satnam,

Very nice colour  The aerokit on the 997 really gives it a more aggressive presence similar to that of a stock 996 C4S

Won't comment on the wheels as I love the 997 Turbo wheels on anything.

You definately will not stop smiling now and will be hooked in to the 911 mystic forever :thumb:
