I have a 2005 997 cabriolet and have been offered a wind deflector from a 996

Can I use this or are they type specific?

What is a reasonable price for a second hand one?

I think they are the same. When I popped to the OPC to buy one the guy said they were the same, but at over 400 I walked away and got it from Porsche shop for half price.
 
I think they are the same part for 996 and 997.. they seem to sell for £100-150 second hand
