Removing rear parcel shelf

Quick question....

According to the history that I got with the car, at some time in the past the rear parcel shelf has been removed to get to a faulty wire following the installation of the tracker (I think it was the tracker anyway).

Anyway, to cut a long story short, this has resulted in a section of the leather covering the shelf to have come loose.

I now want to repair this but can not work out how to remove the parcel shelf.

Any clues or suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Its a simple job really, fold down the seats and you should see 4 screws holding the back rest on, 2 on the left and 2 on the right. The back rest and parcel shelf are attached. Then just slide the shelf out.

Cheers Justin

I had tried that but maybee I was not convincing enough for it.

Will give it another go this weekend.

On the flat vertical surface of the shelf(in the middle toward the bottom) there is a catch holding teh shelf down. When you've removed the screws try lifting the bottom of teh shelf out before pulling. (sounds like a porn instruction!) ;)
