Geometery check

Mine included points 1-6 but maybe not the corner weight - what does this do/mean/involve?

A full geo + corner weight costs in the region of £250+ from most Porsche specialists simply because of the labour involved.

A full geo will involve checking and adjusting:
1) camber (front)
2) camber (rear)
3) toe (front)
4) toe (rear)
5) caster (front)
6) ride height
7) corner weight

A simple check and fewer adjustments will cost less, but make sure you know what you're getting.

Are you sure that includes corner weighting Ade?

The OPCs charge 2 hours labour (£198 + VAT) and proper corner weighting involves elevating the car and it being put on 4 small scales, then adjusting each corner, which usually makes changes to the other corners, so they have to go round the car several times. I have been quoted 4 hours to do it properly on top of the geo adjustments.

It is a time consuming job - typically 3-4 hours. OPStealer labour rates are almost twice what an indie like even JZM charge (£69/hr).
