I've been cleaning the car since getting it last friday and moved on to detailing under the bonnet. I removed the plastic trim covers for the dust filter / battery etc and discovered water sitting in the wells on both sides. It took a while to unblock the drain plugs and blow all of the rubbish out with an air hose but it's all spotless now

Worth checking if you don't normally look there as there are some interesting looking electrics that won't like being submerged!
