Porsche 996 Millenium C4 Coupe

Hmmm.... My 2002 C4 Cabriolet only gets 13.8 mpg. Now hearing that someone rated the 00 at 12 mpg makes me very suspicious. I ordered a Durametric OBD scanner as my Autotap OBD scanner doesn't befriend this car (mfr said it does work). I wonder if there is some issue with the 00 model and coincidentally with my 02. I've never owned a vehicle that got less than 17 mph and that includes a few 400 to 600 HP. My 5000 lb. truck with 8.2 litre 615 HP engine got 17 mpg. I WILL get to the bottom of this.

When I give the car some stick it can drop to 14 mpg - but I average 24 with all driving. On the ring, you get about 7mpg!
