Brake disc hub colour

My brother has just picked up a new C4S and I noticed that the hubs of the brake discs are grey. To me they look like they have grey primer on and nothing else.

I'd like to know from owners of new 997s what colour hubs they have on their cars.

Thanks

Steve

I had new Porsche disks fitted last year and they are grey too.

The genuine Porsche disks have the grey painted hubs. The aftermarket(Zimmerman) ones are usually not painted - and rust like buggery!

Thanks. Grey it is then. The reason I asked is that I'm sure Porsche used to have them painted black - the original discs on my boxster and his previous 996 were black.

Also, the aftermarket discs I've bought that are made by Sebro, come with the hubs painted grey - a much better option than buying Zimmerman in my opinion.
