There's a day trip to France that is being organised on Saturday 14th April by the London PCGB region. The plan is to take an early train across, drive through/around northwest France, and then a more leisurely return to Calais, dropping in at La Perouda for the best wines on sale in Calais, then home.

Cost:

Eurotunnel group buy discounted price of £48 if cheque received by Friday, 9th March, yes, this Friday! Sorry for the short notice but the above quote is only valid till Friday as the full payment needs to be make 6 weeks before departure.

Train Times:

Folkestone-Calais: 14/04/2007 at 8.20am
Calais-Folkestone: 14/04/2007 at 9.20pm

Is anyone here up for this? We already have about 15 cars committed, so it could make for a good laugh and great day out.

Apologies for the late notice, but if anyone wants to come, just let me know and I can sort out payment with you (understood that this Friday is not possible from tonight!)

Contrary to popular belief, not all PCGB'ers wear brass shoes with beards going "ah, in my youth..."! :p  :D
