From memory the 997 C2S is the first n/a Porsche to deliver both more power AND more torque than the 3.3 turbo. Throttle response is also amazing and thats without the sport button ...

But both the aero and chassis dynamics probably mean that the 964's onwards through to the GT3's would leave the 930 turbos behind (the GT3 is a great demonstration of how dynamics can deliver far more than simply power).

My point is that a Turbo experience is pretty amazing because of the impact of the torque delivery but for a modern day package, the 997C2S lacks for nothing.

Shame you can't afford a proper roof though ... :wink:

Porsche’s much awaited 997 Turbo Cabriolet has been spotted out and about, wearing virtually no disguise. The car will make its debut at the New York Auto Show from April 6th.
