The red bit looks interesting and I'm sorely tempted, but the video was comical. :D
He never took the 'vacuum cleaner' sounding stock 996 above 2000 revs. Then, revving the pants off the modded car and declaring the car 'transformed', he almost plants the car into the armco as he makes the left hand turn onto the freeway entrance ramp. Very entertaining.

On there own they do add a bit to the sound, but if you have a PSE then (IMO) they are drowned out.

Should still get some performance gains though.
