So I have had my gorgeous car for about 4 weeks, yesterday when I was trying to reverse back onto the drive, the left exhaust pipe blow out white smoke like really bad. Stopped the car, phoned my local specialist and got it trailered to them. The car still runs smoothly but the smoke really worries me. Question....Ninemeiester inspected the car for me and gave it the OK.....should this have been picked up at PPI 3 weeks ago????? Afetr my last car having been nicked and now this......I am going to take heroine......

dont panic first,

not easy to pick up on ppi, it the rings have suddenley gone, however white smoke suggest head gasket, with water going on to the pistons,

have u got a wtty, and r u getting white smoke all the time,

I had it many times on track days in the C4S, it was oil surge

Did you stop the car, turn off the engine then restart her to reverse onto the drive? Short journeys, stop, starts are not good for any car.
