anyone else have this problem on a mk2 gt3 ?

noticed this last night.......

after a chat with a man in the know, it turns out that one of the problems of running on Toyo R888 tyres is that due to their squarer profile and heat build up the can cause the front arch liners to bow out of shape and thus causing the tyre to rub against the arch....

solution, appears to be getting a heat gun and profiling the arch back into shape :?

Sounds like a very Italian solution to an unexpected German problem. Alternatively you could borrow a hairdryer off a passing cabrio driver

Maybe you might also want to raise your cars suspension so your splitter isn't scraping the paint off the roads?
