As you say rob once you have them side to side the diff is obvious.

You see them occassionally come up on e-bay, so I'll keep an eye out for one. Once I've got over the pain of the new brakes, plus the warranty renewal next week, if I haven't found one by then get a new one, spray it & change it out. Reckon it'll cost about 400 for a new one, spray & fit. As I said an irritation but nothing serious.

I wonder if the previous owner had a similar <cough> incident as me, used the standard jack and messed up the sill.
