The theory is fine... but the reality is different. The reality is that a proper geo correctly matched to the *average* style of driving over the lifetime of a tyre equates to evenly worn tyres. 911 or not.

I appreciate the theory, but reality says otherwise. (says an applied mathematician!)

Interesting topic - have always found that previous Porsches have worn out the inside edges - but have just changed the tyres on my 997S and they were perfectly evenly worn all round. Have done less motorway miles in this car than any other so maybe that does make a difference?
