How much should I be paying for a DME relay? I have seen a couple on Ebay for £20, but is that a decent price or do people get them cheaper? Figured I should get a spare to keep in the car.

Part No is 993 615 227 00

Cheers

Jay

My impression too. Quite a few indie suppliers out there.

£20 sounds about the figure that Northway were after for one about a year ago.

Will,

It basically controls power to the fuel pump and the engine managment and is known to fail. It can generate various symptoms, but one of the common ones is the car not starting.

You can do an emergency fix of hotwiring pins 1,3 and 7 I think in the relay board where the DME relay plugs in to get you home.
