I saw a dark blue facelift 996C4 sitting in a field on Saturday, about 50 metres from a 996-shaped hole in the hedge on the A4130 between Wallingford and Henley.

Looked like the result of either aquaplaning during the very heavy rain, or an over-ambitious overtaking manoeuvre.

Either way, no one hurt, I hope it was no-one on here... :(

Having taken the Lotus out for a blast on Saturday over Henley way, I can honestly say the only appropriate mode of transport would have required a keel. It was bleedin torrential. Roads were like rivers. And I remember why the Lotus don't go out in the rain, it leaks like a sieve.
