Hi All,
Washed the car this morning and took her for a short spin to dry out the brakes. 2 hours later went to start her up and she wouldn't turn over, battery gauge just above 10V
Phoned Porsche Assistance (aka RAC) who turned up in 40mins from me making first call.
Alternator ok, so new battery probably needed. Went for a long blast to try and get some charge in to it, the battery gauge reads around 13.5V, have to see tommorrow if this is held.
Assuming i do need new battery...where should i get one from, I am based in North West London?
The RAC guy said i should get battery from OPC as they are gel filled and only Porsche supply these. Given i also want to preserve my warranty and need Porsche parts to to do this, do people think this is the best (if pricy) option?
as always any thoughts appreciated...chrs!
