Released on reuters this morning translated it means that C4S models between April 2004 and October 2005 have welding seam problems on the exhaust system and are being recalled to check/rectify. No doubt this wont have filtered through to the OPC's yet

we used to get broken welds on the exhaust bracket all the time - just makes the exhaust rattle loudly. If that recall does relate to that its not dangerous, although my german is cr@p.

Its ok Chris, he's allowed to be smug because 993's were so well built that they never needed a re-call, that is apart form the wiring loom re-call on pre varioram cos cars were catching light, and cabriolet roof locking lugs replaced because owners were finding that it was far quicker to lower the roof by having the wind just rip it off rather than that stop/put it in neutral/wait 25 seconds old malarky.

:lol:

postamble();

oh, and don't forget those valve guides wearing prematurely!!! Apart from that, all 993's are perfect.....
