Have been looking (far too long) for a 993. Hopefully in the NW area who can you reccommend to inspect the car before buying. Peter Morgan is usually mentioned but I think it is too far for him to travel........

Got to find one yet - did nearly buy one a few months back but the dealer was slimey...

I used JZM for my PPI and just used JAZ for the service, both are very good

dont suppose your interested in a 993 carrera 2 with a factory fitted 3.8?

Colin looked at my car for me as did a certain member of porsche 911 world - it was featured in their tried and tested prior to me buying it

Mark Clowes at Ninemeister inspected my car for me, he was willing to travel, and did, to Blackpool to inspect a right dog. Soooo glad I got him to look at any potential purchases, other wise I would have ended up with a LHD converted to RHD, very badly I might add. :evil:

Might also be worth having a word with Brian Goff at Hartech

since owning a 993 i have used Hartech in bolton and Loe Bank Motors Edenfield, Bury. 07000 993996 or 01706 826060 (who despite the name are porsche only specialists). I guess it depends where the car is.

Also a quick mention for porsch-apart in ramsbottom - in case any NWers have not heard of them (as i had not and only lived 5 minutes away) for parts new and used.
