Again another common thread - but as I'm a newbee and have only had the car two weeks keen for ideas.

I have picked up a wicked stone chip on the front bumper and will obviously touch it in with a paint stick. But I can see this is going to be a real problem - has anyone found any treatments that help?

Front end or just bumper respray and then put something like Amourfend to protect it, or just accept it and touch up as and when.

I've had quite good results with Langka (with some practice)- sort of dissolves the touch-up paint but leaves the OE finish around it unaffected, allowing you to get a really smooth finish rather than a blob of paint. Need lots of patience, and don't expect it to go right first time!

In the long run, Armourfend or similar is the only solution.
