Hello
Advice re resprays required.
I've a 964 C2. In good shape according the specialist that looks after it.
Recently, the bonnet was scratched by some workman. So, that needs fixing - with my funds and a contribution from those who did the damage (I hope!). A whole other story. Anyway, the cost of a bonnet respray is a few hundred quid.
Whilst getting the quote, I did start to think to the other bits of the body that could do with some attention. Couple of bubbles around the back windscreen, same at the front windscreent and some general chips on the nice protruding bits!
My question is - will it pay dividends to get the whole car sprayed such that those little bubbles don't become issues. Or am I kidding myself?
I don'y plan to sell the car and I understand that a I probably wouldn't recoup the whole investment in a repsray if I were to. But will it save me from bad body work trouble in a couple of years - we've all seen those really nightmare 964s that have got holes where they shouldn't?
Look forward to a healthy discussion.
