I have just changed over from a 2000 boxster with PCM1 to a 2003 996 c2 with PCM 2 :D
. I've gone through the paperwork and noticed that there is no code card for the PCM2 unit to enter if the power supply is interupted when changing the battery etc. I had one with the PCM1 unit on the boxster, does anyone know if the PCM2 has feature. I can't find any mention of it in the manual.

PCM 2 as well as CDR23 do not come with codes any more. They are run on the most bus fibre optical system and have an internal code number which it remembers - it doesnt matter if you disconnect the battery, the coding will remain.
