Is there a secret to staving off/reparing them?

Is there anyone who doesnt have them but uses their car regularly?

Armor Fend? Looks ugly close-up though...

I have Armourfend on mine, not too noticable unless close up 'cos it's silver.(not so good for dark coloured cars). Daily carriage way and town driving, winter and summer, few trackdays including one on a dirty airfield one with lots of stones, so far no stone chips on the car.
