not again you say !

now remembering that I only have a 993 owners manual in german at the moment.. so please bear with me ! and I dont speak german !

what's the deal with the "!" button on the centre console and the "!" which keeps lighting up on the dash display ????

It means there is something which requires attention.... like low petrol etc - - if you hit the I button it extinguishes the light on the dash - because you are now aware of the issue...

If no other warning lights come up on the dash like the petrol symbol for instance I think it means the spoiler has not deployed correctly.

now that could explain why it came on again, whilst on the move !

but as I can't see the rear spolier when i'm on the move.. wha's the cunning why to work out if it has deployed ? (exxcept from getting help from a road side viewer!)

also if it is the case.. is it an easy fix ?

Use rocker switch on central console to raise it manually to see if it works. If it is intermitent it could be the bearing is sticking. Rennlist have a fix for this

Also check all the wring connections - there are connector blocks connecting up to the motor in the engine bay which can shake loose over time!
