Hello all ;-)

1st post from me - just picked up a '93 964 Cab - she's a beauty.

Does anyone know of a 'hack' to allow the roof on a '93 964 to be dropped without having to stop, turn off engine etc.??

On the boxster, you can fiddle with the relay, which although not recommend by Porsche, does the trick and allows the sensible amongst us to drop/raise the roof whilst the cars moving (recommende at speeds lower than 20mph only!!)

Thanks in advance..

Salty

on the 993 the only requirment to drop the roof is the handbrake has to b eon so iguess you could 'tune' the handbrake sensor switch

It seems I have to switch the engine off, then back to position 2 on the ignition. As my manual is in German, I'm not to clear as to the proper procedure. Does anyone know where you can get english manuals online?
